Tricks to Increase Your Metabolism
Bodybuilders are the
Queens and Kings when it comes to losing weight and
whether or not you have an interest in bodybuilding, the
diet tricks that they use can shoot you off to a
successful weight loss program. Here are six quick
dieting tricks used by bodybuilders that can get you on
your way to a faster and more efficient metabolism.
1. Drink a gallon of cold
water every day
2. Eat six (6) small meals
a day - Eating one to three meals a day is not efficient and can
slow down your metabolism. If you eat too little you
body goes into survival mode thinking that you are starving
yourself. The more often you eat small high quality meals, the
happy your body is and the faster your metabolism will burn.
3. Add a cheat meal to
your diet - Once a week pick a meal and eat anything you want.
You can eat pizza, ice-cream, hamburgers, whatever your body
desires. Your body will adapt to your current diet and adding
a cheat meal is s surefire way to keep the body guessing and the
metabolism burning.
4. Switch to more fibrous
carbohydrates later in the day - The more fibrous carbohydrates
like green beans, broccoli and salad take longer to burn. Try
to avoid foods that will spike your insulin levels right before
bedtime.
4. Do cardio workouts in
the morning - If you cannot do cardio in the morning still by
all means do at least 30 minutes of cardio 4 to 5 days a week.
However, doing your cardio workouts in the morning on an empty
stomach is a great way to get the metabolism going for the day.
5. Use fat burning
supplements - Supplements are a tool for fat loss but not a
solution by themselves. Too many people rely solely on weight
loss supplements to help them reach their weight loss goals.
Adding fat burning supplements to a healthy diet and workout program
is a win-win solution to your weight loss goals.
